June 12 has turned out to be a date that has refused to leave the consciousness of most democrats in Nigeria. Nigerians in the diaspora are not left out in the celebration of what has now been regarded as watershed in the history of Africa’s most populous nation. Some Nigerians even believe that the prevailing political evolution in Nigeria is as a result of the June 12 struggle.
